Quoi de neuf dans la R&D pharmacie ?
La pandémie de SARS-COV-2 nous a tous déboussolés . Outre des morts par milliers, elle aura entraîné des dépenses rarement égalées dans les crises de cette nature, observées ces dernières décennies. Et cependant, elle aura également entrainé des transformations profondes dans la R&D pharmacie, destinée à découvrir des molécules nouvelles pour des pathologies sans remède à ce jour ou avec des thérapies insatisfaisantes.
Ces transformations sont, paradoxalement, passées inaperçues, bien qu’elles soient une source d’espoir pour les patients et les soignants. C’est cela que nous essayerons d’aborder dans cette courte communication.
Mohand sidi said is a former executive of Pfizer during 40 consecutive years . He held various strategic and leadership positions in business .He spent several years in New-York, USA, and held the positions of vice-président Pfizer Inc. and area president covering more than 80 countries within the pharmaceutical division. He was also member of the Leadership Team of the company and member of Pfizer G7 group , in charge of R&D, Acquisitions and Licensing. He was also , at one time , vice-président of Phrma , an organisation representing the American pharmaceutical industry , based in Washington D.C.
since his retirement from Pfizer New-York in 2005 , he remained active et associated with various projects in the health sector. He is a former consultant at EORTC – European Organisation for Resarch and treatment of cancers based in Brussels.
He published four books , such as “ Au secours notre santé est en péril “ in 2016 and “ Du Djurdjura à Manhattan “ 2020.
He publishes chronicles in the regional newspaper “La Provence “ and several media articles on the healthcare and innovation.
Sidi said is an occasional speaker at two reputable business schools “ Aix Science Po” and ESSEC in Paris.
Mohand Sidi Said is a Strategy Advisor and also a shareholder at Amypore . He joined the Marseille based company three years ago and plays an important role in its development.
